Questions about accommodation

[ Check-in and check-out ]

Q1.What is the latest time check-in is possible?

Staff are available 24 hours a day, so you may check in as late as you want.
Please contact us if you will be arriving past the planned check-in time you indicated when making your reservation.

Q2.Is payment made in advance?

Please pay in advance when checking in.

Q3.What credit cards and electronic money are accepted?

The following credit cards may be used to pay for stays. (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, Diner’s Card, UnionPay, and other major credit cards).
We also accept Edy electronic money.

Q4.Is there a standby waiting list?

We are sorry, but there is no standby waiting list.

Q5.In what cases do cancellation fees apply?

Cancellation fees are as follows: 20% for cancellation one day prior to arrival, 80% for cancellation on the day of arrival, 100% for no-shows.

Q6.How long does it take to reach the hotel from Oita Station?

It is a roughly 10 minute walk from the Oita Station Funai Chuo exit.

Q7.How long does it take to reach the hotel from Oita Airport?

It takes roughly 60 minutes by car or airport bus.

Q8.Are there any convenience stores or drugstores nearby?

There is a 7-Eleven 30 seconds away on foot and a Lawson 1 minute away on foot.
There are also several drugstores in the shopping center that leads to Oita Station (Centporta Chuocho).

Q9.Are there any smoking rooms?

Smoking rooms are available. Please check the room type when making reservations.

Q10.Are there any connecting rooms?

There are no connecting rooms.
Please feel free to request side-by-side or facing rooms when placing your reservation. Please be aware that depending on occupancy rates we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Q11.Is there high-speed Internet access?

Our hotel has both wired and Wi-Fi Internet connectivity available free of charge.

Q11.Is it possible to request a room on a high floor?

Please feel free to request a room on a high floor when placing your reservation.
Please be aware that depending on occupancy rates we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Q12.Can I take the room key with me when I go out?

The front desk is manned 24 hours a day, so please feel free to leave your door key with the front desk staff.
You may take the key with you when you go out, but in the event that the key is lost, you will be responsible for paying for the replacement fee.

Q13.Are there yukata?

Gowns are available in all guest rooms.

Q14.What amenities are there?

Facetowels/Bath towels/Bath mat/Toothbrush/Razor/Cotton swabs/Shampoo/Conditioner/Body soap/Slippers/Hair brush/Room deodorizer/disinfectant spray are always available.
There are also free women’s amenities (facial cleanser, cleansing cream, skin lotion, emulsion) available when checking in.

Q15.Are there safety deposit boxes?

There are no safety deposit boxes. Please leave your valuables with the front desk staff.

Q16.Are newspapers provided free of charge?

Japanese newspapers are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that quantities are limited.
There are also newspapers available for purchase. Please inquire at the front desk.

Q17.Are there coin-operated laundry machines?

There is a coin laundry room on the 3rd floor.
Washing machines, dryers, detergent, and fabric softener are available for 600 yen/120 minutes.
The number of laundry devices is limited, but there is also a laundry parlor 10 minutes away by foot.

Q18.When are clothing articles returned by the laundry service?

Laundry dropped off for cleaning by 9:00 a.m. will be returned at 4:00 p.m. of the same day.
Laundry service is not available on Sundays or holidays.

Q19.Are there drink vending machines?

There are vending machines on the 1st, 3rd, and 11th floors.
* 1st floor: Non-alcoholic beverages, water, and cigarettes
* 3rd floor: Non-alcoholic beverages, water, alcoholic beverages, and instant ramen
* 11th floor: Freshly brewed coffee

Q20.Is there a communal bath?

There is no communal bath. Please use the bath in your room.
We can also provide information on nearby bathing facilities.

Q21.Can luggage be stored before check-in and/or after check-out?

Luggage can be left with the front desk staff.

Q22.Can articles be mailed to the hotel before the planned date of arrival?

Yes. When sending articles, please include the name and date of stay of the guest, and pay for mailing in advance. We cannot accept COD deliveries.

Q23.Is there a massage service?

A massage service is available. Massage service reception is open from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (4,000 yen for 40 minutes/6,000 yen for 60 minutes/8,000 yen for 80 minutes)

[ Breakfast ]

Q25.What breakfast is available?

A western and Japanese buffet is available from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Trattoria Ariston Terrazza, on the first floor.
The buffet costs 1,080 yen. Please buy a breakfast ticket at the front desk.

【Is there a charge for children sleeping in the same beds as adults?】

Q26.Is there a charge for children sleeping in the same beds as adults?

There is no charge for elementary school aged or younger children sleeping in the same beds as adults.

Q27.How much does breakfast cost for children without separate beds?

Elementary school aged children: 540 yen. Pre-school aged and younger children: Free

Questions about restaurants

Q1.Are reservations accepted?

Lunch reservations are only possible at 11:30 a.m.
Dinner reservations can be made for whatever time guests desire. (between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.)

Q2.Are there lunch sets?

There are daily specials.
There are also sets.

Q3.Is smoking allowed in restaurants?

The lunch buffet is non-smoking. We appreciate your understanding.
There is a smoking corner for guests that smoke.

Q4.Are there infant nursing areas?

There are no nursing rooms, but we may be able to set up a nursing room, so please contact us regarding your needs.

Q5.Are there private rooms?

The China Diner has three private rooms that can seat from 4 to 30 guests and a Japanese-style room that can seat up to 16 guests.

Q6.Are reservations required?

Reservations are not required for the lunch buffet, but if the restaurant becomes full it may not be possible to serve guests.
Diner use is by reservation only. Reservations may be made by groups of four or greater.

Q7.Can guests with children use the restaurant?

There is a private Japanese-style room where guests with children can relax and enjoy their meal.

[ Hotel facilities ]

Q1.Are there any relaxation facilities?

The “Rakuza Hiyori” body & face relaxation parlor is located on the 1st floor of the hotel.
There are shiatsu massage and Thai massage courses. Each course costs 2,000 yen for 20 minutes. (5,500 yen for 60 minutes)
There are no regular holidays or operating hours, so please inquire with the front desk staff.

Q2.Is there a bar?

The Bar IZARRA is located on the 1st floor of the hotel.
It serves cocktails, wines, whiskey, and more.
It is open from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. from Monday to Saturday, and from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Sundays and national holidays. (No regular holidays)
