Oita Prefecture has been called the "land of abundance," rich with the bounty of the land and sea.
Our hotel prides itself on its dishes, which make sumptuous use of local Oita ingredients.
Fresh vegetables grown in the expansive land stretching from the warm southern reaches of the prefecture to the cool steppes are used in our vegetable salads and steamed vegetables. The broth in our luxurious fugu zosui (rice gruel with blowfish) comes from Oita blowfish from the Bungo Channel. Our slowly simmered shiitake mushroom stew is made with shiitake, a local specialty.
